Foamcore (10mm)
Fome-Cor, or Foamcore is the original lightweight foam board consisting of an extruded polystyrene centre core, bonded between white clay coated printing grade paper stock on both sides. Suitable for short term indoor graphic applications such as poster mounting, picture framing, point of sale displays, screen and direct UV inkjet printing.
How dimensionally stable is fomamcore?
Being lined with paper both sides it is liable to warp due to absorption of humidity so is best used when fixed to another surface. 20mm thick is constructed differently so is more stable and ok to hang.
How durable is foamcore?
It’s quite soft by its nature so best placed where it won’t be bumped or handled.
How is foamcore?
We print it on a flatbed UV printer and trim on our Zund cutter.
Can you put an edging on the boards?
We can glue a black or white melamine edging to 20mm board only.
